Cass Tech Boys Part 2: Mike Weber

In part 1 I touched on Josh Alabi, the sophmore DE.. Now I will talk a bit about Mike Weber, the other recipient of a Michigan offer this afternoon.  Before anything.. here is a link to his sophomore highlights..

Just from those 10 minutes you realize one thing.. Mike is a Beast.  Being just a sophomore, you come away amazed.  He plays like a senior.  Mike has the complete package when it comes to what you look for in a RB.

Mike is one of the top RB prospects in the country for 2015 and may very easily be a top RB prospect as it stands overall right now.  His speed, athleticism, and tackle breaking ability, make for a chance to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.  He has great hands out of the backfield, and the utmost potential to be THE TOP RB in the 2015 class.  Mike was bound to get a Michigan offer and for him that moment came today.

Here is what he had to say..

-His thoughts on the offer “It means a lot to get an offer from one of the biggest schools in America and to earn an offer as a sophomore makes it that much better.  Also, it means a lot because I grew up a Michigan fan and most of my teammates are going there!”

-On Whether Michigan is his leader “It’s safe to say that yes, Michigan is up there.”

-What he likes about Michigan “The people around the university are amazing and great people.  Everytime I speak with them they are very welcoming.”

-On a timetable for his decision “It has always been a dream of mine to announce my decision at the Army All American Bowl on national TV.”

-On when he should be making a visit to A2 “I will be on campus Thursday to watch the hoops squad play Penn State.”

Mike is a very quiet and humbled young man, with great knowledge both on the football field and off it.  Mike could be an every back and would fit in nicely in Ann Arbor in a couple of years.. Could you imagine he and Damien Harris in the same class? WOW!

Weber should see the offers start rolling in soon enough with his film and performance on the field.  Mike seems to have goals in mind and hopefully Michigan is in his future plans!  He seems to love everything about Michigan and also the fact that he could play with his current Cass Tech teamates is very enticing.  We will be sure to stay in touch with Mike as his recruitment progresses as should you! GO BLUE!
