Game Preview: #4 Michigan Heads to Happy Valley to take on Penn State

The fourth-ranked Michigan Wolverines (23-4, 10-4 B1G) travel to Penn State (8-18, 0-14 B1G) tonight looking to keep their win streak alive and gain some momentum going into the Big Ten stretch run.

As far as the match-up goes, Michigan will win and probably do it handily, but I think it benefits the Wolverines greatly if they take care of business and put Penn State away early, which they have the goods to do.

Penn State jumped on the Wolverines early in their last match at Crisler a few weeks back, so keeping focus will be key in today’s game. They cannot afford to look ahead to Sunday’s game with Michigan State.

Indiana losing last night pulls the Wolverines within one game in the loss column for the Big Ten lead. In order for Michigan to win the conference, they will likely have to win out.

Expect John Beilein’s boys to take care of the Nittany Lions and to do it going away. They know what is at stake if they don’t.
