Football: 2014’s Top Prospect Set to Visit Michigan

Five-star defensive end Da’shawn Hand, widely considered the number-one recruit in the class of 2014, will visit Michigan on March 16th and 17th, according to 247 sports’ Steve Lorenz.

The Wolverines are among five of Hand’s early leaders, which include Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, and Virginia Tech.

He will be in attendance for the beginning of Michigan’s spring practices, where the Coach Hoke and his staff, along with the players, will have their shot at impressing Hand and hopefully landing his services.

It’s well known amongst those who follow Michigan recruiting of linebacker commit Michael Ferns’ “Project 135.” Let’s hope after Da’shawn Hand’s visit, Ferns has to get a t-shirt ready.
