Michigan sophomore point guard and National Player of the Year Trey Burke took to the ESPN airwaves today to announce when a decision to either stay in Ann Arbor or enter the NBA Draft could come as soon as this Sunday
“It’s still up in the air,” he said Friday on SportsCenter. “It’s a decision I’ll definitely be announcing here in the next few days.”
He then went on the radio with ESPN 710’s Mason and Ireland show with Indiana’s Victor Oladipo, who has already entered the draft. When asked if Sunday was the day, he replied, “I think that will be the day I decide.”
“I think it’s time to make a decision so I can move forward and kind of get the (national title loss) in the past so I can move forward,” he added.
That is a bit of a cryptic statement, but I guess we will find out soon enough where Trey Burke is headed. It has been widely speculated he will leave school and right now is a high lottery prospect in many mock drafts.
