McGary and Robinson Return for Sophomore Seasons

With one dual press conference today, Michigan’s future just got a whole lot brighter.

Freshmen Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson III announced at a press conference today that they will return to school for the 2013-14 season, foregoing the NBA Draft.

The two were both considered lottery picks by many NBA Draft experts. Coming back to the team will be a big boost to a program looking to sustain the momentum from this year’s Final Four run.

With both McGary and Robinson returning, John Beilein’s squad will return three of the five starters from this year’s team and will look to replace Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway, Jr. in the form of incoming freshman Derrick Walton and Zak Irvin.
