Jabrill Peppers Update

According to Tom VH of ESPNU Wolverine Nation, the number one CB prospect in the nation and arguably the top player as well, Jabrill Peppers will be announcing his college plans on May 26th.

Peppers, has plans to visit Penn State on the 18th and the possibility looms that he may try and accommodate one more quick visit before he announces to a school that is not known yet.  Peppers, by all means seems to be a very firm Michigan lean as of now, and could be the biggest recruit for Michigan in the last ten years, bigger than Derrick Green.

Peppers, as many fans know is one of the most dynamic players in recent memory and has the ability to take over a game on both sides of the ball.  From all the film I have watched it surely seems as if, he were a Wolverine, that he would indeed play corner and fill a desperate need for a Michigan secondary that has lacked a STAR player in the defensive backfield since the days of Leon Hall.

Peppers could step in and make an immediate impact with the shot at playing opposite Blake Countess.  Peppers has gone on the record as saying, “He doesn’t want to be the next Charles Woodson, He wants to be the next Jabrill Peppers.”

Jabrill is a very wise kid for his age both on and off the field and could very well be one of the best players in Michigan history if his skills and abilities transfer successfully to college ball, as they should.

Nothing is ever 100% in recruiting anymore, but as of now it is very clear that Peppers has a big favor for the Wolverines and if all comes to fruition we could be looking at the leader of one of the best classes in Michigan football history.
